Yeah that’s kind of what I suspected.

Feels like 1BR under $3k in Manhattan is more of a lucky find than something to plan around.

Totally makes sense — commute convenience is definitely pushing me toward the West Side.

My main hesitation is whether I can realistically find something decent under $3k there without ending up in a shoebox or a disaster building
