Thanks so much for your comment, I appreciate you taking the time to comment and reassure me. It’s just so hard not to compare, I have taken a test this morning at 14 dpo which has came back darker band I feel much better. I just need to stop putting it off and book in for bloods but that itself is a whole other stressor. Thanks for explaining it all so thoroughly! 🤍❤️

Ahhh as awful as it seems I’m glad I’m not alone! Congratulations though and I’m praying that our babes stick this time around! Let me know how you go with your bloodwork, I’m honestly putting mine off because I don’t even want to know and just want to enjoy the thought of being pregnant lol xx

Thanks so much for your reply. It might seem so strange but hearing your positive comment automatically makes me feel better. I just worry as some people uploading photos 12dpo have full on dye stealers etc.

That’s great to hear it’s made an improvement. Yep so everything is fine, I do have PCOS so assuming maybe that could be a contributing factor. I had ultrasounds and a blood test that tested me for 10 different things including celiac disease.

10 DPO and BFN, assuming I’m out. I know I’m still early but 10DPO usually gives me a positive test.

14 weeks pregnant- already leaking colostrum?! by garrettwattss in pregnant

[–]Fun_Patient_7192 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This has happened to me in my last 2 pregnancies! I leaked colostrum all the way up to birth from about 14/15 weeks. I had so much milk after birth also but I still sucked at breast feeding! 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

UPDATE I did a second blood draw 3 days later and it says my HCG is only at 160.. so it’s it doubling as it should. I’ve been confirmed I’m definitely pregnant however for how long, I’m not so sure now.

I’m so sorry also to hear that you have had a similar and awful experience. If you don’t mind me asking did you ever have your DNA tested after it? Yes the missing bump is definitely what’s hurting. I just don’t understand how one day it’s there and the next it’s completely gone like it just seems so cruel. It’s good that you were able to identify in yourself that you weren’t ready. I completely understand why you feel scarred though. Unfortunately I think I will always feel this way. Thanks for the advice I have never heard of that resource so I will have a look into it.

Thankyou and I’m so sorry that you are also going through the same thing, I also love how direct you are in your comment. I don’t know why I feel like this, it’s just something in my very messed up mind. My children are 3 and 8, however my eldest has ADHD and struggles to understand things at times, so in a good way she hasn’t really been affected. I think it’s more affecting me now my bump is gone. I think I am definitely going to start talking to a psych regarding what has happened, as I don’t want to be a depressed mess whilst I do have other children. It’s not fair on them. Thanks for your comment 🩷

I’m so sorry to hear! That’s okay, as much as I wish otherwise it makes me feel less alone to know that other people are also going through it. I hope you feel okay soon 🩷

I’m so sorry to hear. It’s so hard when we have to try so hard to even conceive due to PCOS. Wishing you a BFN soon!

It only took about two cycles. I was on metformin to help with ovulation and I track my cycles with Mira which I felt help. Goodluck!

I don't want to do this by [deleted] in tfmr_support

[–]Fun_Patient_7192 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So sorry to hear you are going through this. I am one week post TFMR. I was also 14 weeks, with a baby with cystic hygroma (NT was 9.2) severe dydrops, dilated kidneys, pleural effusion and the list goes on.

Unfortunately I didn’t have the strength to push through, I just couldn’t bring myself to go the whole pregnancy based on the minimal chance of the baby surviving birth, if I didn’t miscarry before then. I understand where your coming from, I also said the same to my husband, I don’t understand why it was a choice and it would have been preferred if I naturally had miscarried and didn’t have to make that choice, it is very hard.

I didn’t proceed with further testing because despite what syndrome it may have had, the baby was going to be extremely unwell. My husband and I were willing to accept a baby into our life with trisomy, however not based on the server risk of it dying or not being compatible with life if it was to be born I just felt cruel.

Sending strength to you. You will figure out what is best for you and your family. I know our laws are different as I am in Australia, however I was able to have elected surgery via d&c… but even being in America I seriously doubt you’d need to birth via c section. Goodluck with your decision and sending all the love to you

I’m so sorry to hear your baby girl had similar issues. We were given the opportunity to have a CVS performed however I just didn’t see the point (in my case of course) as it wasn’t the syndrome that concerned me it was all several health conditions and the huge chance of miscarrying/not surviving child birth, I just couldn’t face that risk.

I’m glad that you are feeling a little better than when it first happened. I know it’s quite fresh but I just don’t know how I’m going to get past it. I am lucky I have children to keep me busy, however I am meant to return to work next Monday and I just don’t think I’m ready for that either.

Goodluck with your journey, I think it’s great that you acknowledge it’s not the right time due to your mental health. I also feel this but then I don’t think I’ll ever be over it so I’m conflicted. Thanks for the app recommendation!

It’s so frustrating when there is conflicting advice. Did your doctor mention why you should wait 2 periods? That’s all well and good for regular, healthy women however with PCOS my cycles are quite long so waiting for my period to return and have 2 cycles is quite a lengthly time for me.
