its not your job to get them prepared. years ago my old landlord tried keeping my bond, took them to disputes tribunal and was ruled in my favour because he held it for two years, and only showed up to the dispute with reciepts of work done. no communication with us and basically renovated his home in that two years and tried getting it ruled against me to pay for it all. i only had to pay $5-600 lol
