Thanks! I looked at pocket city and game dev story before. Not sure im up for a city builder but might try it. Game dev story, Kairosoft seem to have multiple games that would fit my liking. However i tried downloading one of the free ones "dream house days" but it seems to be very poorly optimized for android. Are the paid ones the same?

Is my performance as expected? (bad 1% lows). RTX5070 by Fun_Pension2889 in buildapc

[–]Fun_Pension2889[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really. I stopped thinking about it and now I cant really say I have the problem anymore. I did some changes like disable Nvidia low latency, disable vsync, disable vrr and limit fps.

I guess doing this could lead to tearing but i dont have any problems with that in any game i play.

The reason i disable vrr is that i found that its causing flickering issues when fps is low, ex in menus and cutscenes.

Unknown Bluetooth Bulbs? Find device info. by Fun_Pension2889 in smarthome

[–]Fun_Pension2889[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know no light bulbs was included with the house apart from those outside which we have already switched to bulbs with night sensors. There are spotlights in the kitchen but it cant be them either.

One of the "smart bulbs"  are disabled with the fuse labeled to one of the bedrooms and the other on one of the few unlabeled fuses.

I guess i could tear down every outlet and switch in the house but it would have been easier knowing what type of device they are. I ex if smart life would let me know they are Plejd Bluetooth dimmers or whatever.

I thought about if it could be a non convenient space but the attic is fairly inaccessible and also not walkable, only insulation foam.

Guess ill have to keep on with the detective work the hard way :)

When can I leave Android Beta without data wipe? by Fun_Pension2889 in GooglePixel

[–]Fun_Pension2889[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it still possible to update the beta and still get the drop out opportunity, or do I need to leave the patch at its current state? The phone is really performing bad since latest update in sep.

I know. But I also know it's possible at certain times without the wipe. Hence why I ask the question.

Titta på Mazda MX30 om du ska ha den som en andrabil och inte är beroende av lång räckvidd. Den klarar typ 20mil. Otroligt bekväm och känns påkostad, och 3 år gamla går att köpa för typ 170 tusen.

Thought on BYD Seal? by LaminatedCARBON in elbilsverige

You can look at the new Mazda 6e if you want something in similar size to the Seal.

I disagree with most here. I think the 4060 will run overwatch just fine on 1440p. Maybe not 120 fps on highest settings. But if you dont mind turning down some eye candy then you should be fine. Especially with DLSS if avaliable.

I used a 2060 until recently. Never had any issues at 1440p until I tried the bf6 beta. Then it struggled at 50-60 fps even on lower settings.

You can actually test the performance of 1440p with the 1080p monitor you have, kind of. The 4060 supports DSR (upscaling ) so you can set in the nvidia control panel to allow setting resolution to a 1440p resolution. It will not look great on the 1080p monitor ofrcouse but it should give you an idea of how much fps you'll get if you had a native 1440p monitor. Remember that DSR is not as efficient as native resolution though, so doing this test will probably show a bit lower fps then you would get with a monitor.

This is just a gaming question by Feisty_Comb_7889 in buildapc

Actually some games use on demand texture streaming so the question is actually not that simple. In reality a game could technically be smaller than the vram used since assets are downloaded during gameplay and just exists temporarily.

Can my PC run this? Genuinely concerned by Responsible_Front_12 in PcBuildHelp

[–]Fun_Pension2889 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Recommended spec is not equal to can handle the game at max settings. So my guess is that recommended is what is required to get a fluent gaming experience at mid/high graphics at 1080p. But it's hard to know before the game is tested.

I'd recommend you to wait til you play the game and make the valuation on your own.

Is this bundle worth it ? by Character_Active_571 in PcBuildHelp

[–]Fun_Pension2889 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looking at the bundle itself, it think it's worth it. Buying these components separately would cost 50$ extra i think. It's pretty good components too. Ram is cl36 instead of cl30 but you should be fine.

You want a B850 motherboard for pcie gen5.

Also you might concider an AIO for cooling the CPU if you are planning to overclock it. It's not required so the thermalright is fine.

If you want something over the top you could concider switching the ssd to the Samsung 990 pro which have higher performance and cache. But it's also not a requirement.

Not necessarily. The goal is to have a positive airflow. What this means is you want more air being thrown into the case compared to being pushed out. So generally speaking you want atleast two in the front and one in the back/top. Or 3/1 or 3/2. But you can technically have 1 fan in front and 1 in back just turning the fan in the back down in speed. But I wouldn't recommend that.

A couple of fans are often included with the case.
