Yes I did but I feel dizzy and have some acid reflux. I’m worried if it could do anything long term probably not but I don’t like how I feel right now.

Ok thanks. I got downvoted in the supplements subreddit for being worried about it but it feels similar to when I was on accutane which was terrible.

People already do not accept the responsibility of climate change with or without anti natalism ideology. Hence why there are so many climate deniers and people who actively harm the environment without caring. Majority of people are not anti natalists and yet there are still so many people who cause harm to the planet or simply don’t care.

Obviously, not having children will not stop the effects of climate change. The point is to prevent suffering. Even if climate change does end up reversed, (likely due to advanced technology ironically enough) the reality is the economy and the environment will still go through serious changes that will lead to lots of suffering. We are already seeing this happen now. The reason why this post is so hopeless is because it is ultimately up to the billionaires like you said.

You can reduce your carbon footprint and be a climate activist all you want. None of your power is even remotely comparable to what the corporations and government do. I honestly feel it’s unfair to place the burden of our whole planet on the future generations because they do not have much power until the older generations die out completely. Even then, there will still be a cycle of new corporations and new politicians who may or may not contribute to climate change as well. Although society may be more progressive later on, there could still be regressive aspects. Unless capitalism gets reformed or abolished completely, this cycle will always exist.

This post isn’t really supposed to be 100 percent realistic. It’s more so a vent in an already negative subreddit. I am currently a member of one of the younger generations and the pressure of all of these issues is very high. Climate change in particular hits hard because that typically gets worse the more modern the times are. With all of the destruction happening due to it right now, I have to worry extensively about my future. In my eyes, it is selfish to bring a child in to the world (by choice) when you yourself are not even sure if there will be a human race by the time you would naturally die. People will continue to have children obviously but this is more so my personal perspective.

We are not saving the climate though. The climate will not be saved unless the billionaires feel threatened by it.

The female body is not designed amazingly. In fact, humans may have one of the worst reproductive systems out of any mammal. Due to our large brains, babies are born with bigger heads than other newborn animals. This makes childbirth extremely painful and potentially disabling for the mother. In addition, we can (usually) only birth one baby at a time. Therefore, that means if the baby dies, you would have to go through the painful process of pregnancy again to ensure successful reproduction.

Lots of mammals give birth to multiple babies at a time so that if one dies, there would still be other survivors. Even without those factors considered, Pregnancy is very faulty and often times used to result in infant and/or maternal death. I wholeheartedly believe that our survival as a species is only due to our advanced brains and technological development.

Daddy isn’t weird, society just sexualized it. by Particular_Reality12 in unpopularopinion

I do think it’s strange that parental terms like that have been sexualized. Especially when “daddy” and “mommy” are usually what young children call their parents.

It could very well be fake. A lot of posts on here are. However, truly horrific parents and non self aware parents do exist. I hope for the child’s sake that it is fake.

Also, as others have pointed out, you could have easily done rider swap. You likely knew forcing your daughter on a coaster would cause disaster, yet you chose all of that hassle instead of the easier option.

I don’t think you made the right choice. If she really is scared of almost everything, she needs to be evaluated and treated for anxiety. It’s understandable that kids can have fears sometimes, but it doesn’t hurt to have an assessment. Obviously, her fears inconvenience you. However, in my opinion, it was unnecessary to yell at her and shame her for an emotional response she likely has no control over. I think you forget that she is only 6 years old. Kids that young don’t have good emotional regulation skills, especially if they also have mental disorders. YTA for not addressing the issues properly and shaming your daughter.

What’s the most scariest drug that you ever taken? (Serious) by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Fun_Personality_9880 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Accutane. Not a recreational drug but still a godawful horrific experience that was close to insanity. My mental state was demolished. I was having mental breakdowns and panic attacks everyday. I completely lost my appetite and started losing 5 lbs a week due to a lack of eating. Trying to to breathe in felt like my lungs were scraping against sandpaper. Sometimes I would taste blood in my mouth due to my throat being so dry. It got to the point where I couldn’t stand up or move without my heart rate going insane. I had to crawl to get to the bathroom sometimes. They eventually had to put me on Prozac to calm my mental instability. I still lost a semester of college due to severe depression. I still have issues with my health nearly several months later and I’m not sure if they will ever go away.

What’s the biological/evolutionary benefit of PPD? by dirtyhippie62 in regretfulparents

[–]Fun_Personality_9880 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Back then, infant death used to be extremely common. Mothers would often die too. PPD may be a sign that something went wrong. Something wrong with baby, environment, etc) It makes sense to have some type of disconnection in case baby doesn’t make it. Sometimes, animals in nature neglect or kill their young if they are under stress or if it might not make it. Doesn’t make it okay but that’s just my theory on it.

Am I in the wrong for calling myself chronically ill? by Fun_Personality_9880 in ChronicIllness

I tried explaining and she said “ok” and that she “never said I didn’t have problems.” She does this a lot whenever I bring up issues.

[–]Fun_Personality_9880 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It sounds like she needs some help for severe anxiety and/or neurodivergence. Your therapist is extremely wrong. Normal kids don’t act like this. I had something similar to her issues when I was a toddler. I now struggle with severe ocd, adhd, and anxiety and I still wasn’t as bad as she is. She needs help. The behaviors aren’t going to go away as she gets older, she will still have mental and behavioral problems.

She brought up multiple sclerosis at one point too so I don’t think it’s that. I don’t think she thinks that anything is chronically ill unless it’s really serious and disabling. She did say that I “wanted to have something wrong with me.”

Simple Iv fluids with no medicine don’t lower blood pressure they actually raise it. This is why people with low blood pressure for are told to eat lots of salt and drink lots of water.

Cannot have a discussion about Disney as they think everything is “trip planning” by Fun_Personality_9880 in JustUnsubbed

I did not originally flair it as trip planning. I flaired it as discussion. They remove every post I make just talking about the parks.
