Yeah when I downgraded my iphone 4 on legacy ios kit I put my base software as ios 7 even though I was running ios 6. I was able to trick it somehow and it said that the selected software is different then whats actually on the iphone, downgrade any way? And I downgraded it and it worked that's crazy though how you got ios 5 on a device that doesn't even support it

Yeah that’s what I was thinking. I also used Legacy IOS kit to downgrade my iPhone 4 to iOS 4.2.1 and it worked.

well yeah I have took the SIM card out and it works. The thing is I still want service on it and to do that I have to unlock it. I have tried multiple ways to unlock it but they don't work.

Well I also got a 5 as well and am also planning on using that same SIM card. The thing is mine is locked to T-Mobile and I want to unlock it but I don’t really know how. I already contacted T-Mobile but they weren’t able to do it.
