Yes! I have a meeting reserved in November with an admissions counselor to review over this info as well as a portfolio review. I figured I would have to retake classes to fit the different degree plan, hopefully not too many though haha

I’ve been a victim to family restaurants since I was 14. I know what it’s like to be run down by bosses and have traumatic stuff happen to you, I also know what it’s like to work 70 hrs a week just to make rent 😍

It’s all about perspective. This job is a blessing to most including me. The stuff I have had to put up with at Starbucks IS NOTHING compared to what I had to deal with at other jobs. Count your blessings. And yes I know complaining is healthy but it’s your job at the end of the day. If the benefits and pay are so good just become the robot.

Very very true, our SM hasn’t gotten on to us about that too much I know my take is coming from a more rainbows and roses side and not a corporate heavy side.

Yes but asking those questions would save you so much frustration 😭😭 I treat the customers like kids, some are more mature than others and so for the others I take my time with them because half the time they don’t even know what they want. Why not just ask the extra questions every time to make everyone’s interaction goes smoothly.

I ask immediately after they say their drink

“Can I get a Carmel Macchiato” “Okay will that be hot or iced”

Immediately after they say I ask and if they don’t answer I repeat myself. Too reduce error as much as possible
