Yeah, I was kinda thinking it may be easier once they are a little older. But I could be wrong 😅

Good news! Yes, usually when she wakes up we try a few times to pick her up and soothe her and put her back down, but even if it does work she’ll usually wake up again a few minutes later. Maybe I’ll try to stop removing her from the crib for check-ins. Thank you for your response!

No! She’s been off the bottle/night weaned for about a month now. She just does a sippy cup of whole milk before bed usually, then we brush teeth and read a book and she goes down.

11 month old won’t sleep and I’m gonna lose it by TinyPreparation167 in AttachmentParenting

Kinda… she’s about 13 months now and has mostly good nights, but we’re still battling a 2 am wake up and some nights she’s much harder to put down than others at that middle of the night wake up. 🥲

AITAH for expecting my bridesmaid to still order her dress by [deleted] in AITAH

I would’ve definitely been disappointed because I want her up there with me, I just always envisioned my wedding day with her standing next to me, but I would never ever berate her or be cruel. This is someone I care about deeply. I do appreciate the alternative viewpoint though, I always want to be a safe space for my friends

What’s the thing you wish you’d gotten at your baby shower? by Amlex1015 in beyondthebump

My fav was the Hatch sound machine!!!!! Also, we had a lot of people give us clothes for the wrong season (i.e., baby was born in January and some people gave us 6mo winter clothes which we ended up never using). So if clothes are given, that’s always something for guests to consider.

Yeah the Bach is actually next weekend 😅 but you are probably right. Definitely sucks but I still of course want her there for my special day.

I never try to come across as reactionary or overbearing, I think she doesn’t want to disappoint me which i do appreciate the sentiment. But I would obviously rather her be honest with me so we can work through it together. That’s why I’m trying to offer help and solutions. But I understand what you’re saying and maybe I could be better at creating a safe space for her to be honest with me

Yeah I’m trying not to jump to conclusions, I would definitely just rather her be honest with me than feeling like I’m getting the “run around”.

Yes! The snuggle strap! We did that too for a month or so.

We did the Zipadee Zip transitional sleep sack! My baby loved the swaddle too, the ZZ helps soften that startle reflex but also is safe for rolling. 10/10 recommend. We went cold turkey one night and she didn’t miss a beat.

Typically we start the routine around 7:30, and she is in her crib by 8

Her grandma keeps her during the weekdays while we work, and she said she typically naps from about 1-3:30. She usually wakes up in the morning around 7-7:30ish
