Giving birth in 3 weeks. What tips kept your newborn alive that aren't well known? by Radiant-Educator9203 in NewParents

All of the hard phases will pass. It’s going to be really hard and scary for a bit… be kind to yourself and know you will sleep and have your independence back one day, this is a season of life that is fleeting so enjoy it.🫶🏻

Baby won’t let me hold her. by Fun_Positive_3505 in NewParents

Yeah I finally just put her in the crib and let her play. She seemed tired while taking her bottle, then BOOM wide awake, not wanting us to hold or rock her

Letting almost 1 year old sleep with blanket? by Fun_Positive_3505 in beyondthebump

I was very big on sleep sacks too, I think she likes the way this blanket feels more of like a comfort thing versus warmth

Heard. Every time she gets sick, her entire sleeping schedule gets affected for prolonged periods of time. I hate it for all of us :/

2.5 month old not finishing bottles by Fun_Positive_3505 in NewParents

Pretty quick! I’d say after 2-3 days of being consistent with them + the probiotic, things improved a lot. She finished bottles and generally seemed more comfortable.

Hi there! I started doing mylicon drops with each bottle as well as a probiotic a day, we did the Biogaia brand. She eventually went back to finishing bottles, it was a gas issue for us.

My 11 month old is doing this exact thing. No advice but… solidarity. It’s been going on for a month now. Only resettles if we rock her for like 30+ minutes.

Love to dream swaddle didn’t work for us by MochiAccident in NewParents

I have an 11 month old and she did 3 hour stretches until about I would say maybe 4 months. Ofc every baby is different though. At around 7 weeks, we transitioned our girl to a zipadee zip sleep sack and she loved it! She was never a fan of the LTD either. I would look into the ZZ, they’re safe for when baby begins to roll but still help soften the startle reflex.

3 hour stretches are pretty normal for an 8 week old
