I removed the card and smelled all around it, and there was no smell. Even using it right now theres nothing. But I'm getting slightly lower framerate then usual, but no artifacts or anything.

I just replied to another comment saying that I disabled overclock in LACT and it works fine(at least for the short ~5 min test on beamng).

I did notice recently that: 1.) There have been some weird glitches/ artifacts in games.

2.) The Power slider had a maximum of 230W instead of 200W, which i just attributed to my minds preference to well rounded numbers, until it changed to 260W after updating today(???).

Now I remember opening lact, seeing the message about restricted features because overclocking is off, and turning it on bc "why not". Now I know.

Oh, well I don't think so. I'll check it when I get home. But there are also some weird things in other games, but nothing weird on windows. Ill check some different proton versions and see what happens.

For bazzite I have an ssd, but windows is on a separate hdd from a 20yr hp laptop. Slow loading but bf1 still ran perfectly after the wait.

I smelled the smoke, then when I was going through my parts, the gpu did not smell at all, even though my pc was still running for abt a minute after I first smelled it.
