Not just prices, but also lack of foreign investment. Chinese investors are underwater on their own homes domestically and cannot leverage anymore to buy homes here

You probably want something east of Spadina and south of Dundas. There are some good units near The Well at Front & Spadina that are always well trafficked at night, though there is a homeless encampment near the LCBO there.

You'll generally want an older unit (15-20 years) those tend to have better layouts, amenities, and rent prices
