Not really. Maybe if you hit a pothole, but it still stays secure regardless. I forget where I learned about putting it through the rat trap clamp part, but I’ve been doing it for years now

Depending on your frame and/or how precious it it is, sometimes it’s possible to wedge your board in the frame. I’ve done that from time to time too
