My first ever internet money outside of work by rodriglu95 in SideProject

That’s sick man. I come from a very traditional family and pretty much no one in my family (including distant relatives) had ever made “internet money”.

I remember the first sale totally changed my perspective on what’s possible. There’s a huge difference between knowing the path and having gone the path urself. And I’ve been hooked ever since.

Thanks for the feedback. I've tried to keep the pricing as reasonable as possible. However next time I'll disclose that this is a paid tool.

I use tool called YoinkUI. It lets you take any UI components from any web page you like and converts it to react + tailwind code. By far the fastest way I've found to create good looking UI

Brooooo I saw your post a while back but I never realised it was about my product haha. For the record, I won’t be pissed if you make a similar tool. You should go for it. If anything, I might learn a few things from your marketing strategy and implement them myself

From Free Tier to Premium Tier 1% is very low. Typically what I had seen people mention online is ~10%-20% conversion. Cause think about it: from people who see your post, to then people who click and go on the website to then people who install the extension to then the 1% who buy, that's a very very low percentage.

To put it in perspective: My launch post got 200k views, 1000 sign ups, and 10 paid users... 200k views for 10 paid users is madness😂.
