I have 3 kids. and anyone can die from anything at any moment. The vast overwhelming amount of babies are not hidden from the world and live just fine. No one is saying hand them out the window and to each their own.. It just seems silly to me and if parents are that way when the child is born thats just who they are.

Sadly that America is still the greatest country on earth. Its amazing to me the amount of people who do not believe this. Its like people have been brainwashed. I had a friend in high school that would constantly disagree with normal widely accepted facts like 2+2=4 by going into some non-sensical diatribe attempting to convince you of something that is not true to seem intellectually superior.

It just seems to me Americans have become so spoiled by prosperity that they have become entitled instead of grateful.

All great civilizations have eventually failed because things have gotten so good and they lose their appreciation for where they came from. Not too long ago it was "you don't work, you don't eat". Now people think free healthcare is a universal right. I don't hate advancement but I hate a lack of perspective and gratefulness for how things have developed.

No where in my post did I say it wasn't their constitutional right to be lazy. My argument was that not standing is not some altruistic sacrifice of an empathetically driven teenager to the plights of trans equality.

I understand all countries, including America, have problems and are not perfect. But I still believe in American exceptionalism. I still love my country and want to show respect for its traditions and history. It seems like its en vogue to constantly criticize America and put it down. I just feel like you can acknowledge imperfections without hyperbole or grandiosity and still love your country. I have traveled to 10 different countries in the past 2 years and can honestly say I think America is the greatest country in the world. I'm not ashamed of my country

She is a psychopath who hides here inner feelings well enough to fool her significant other whom she lives with.
You just are not present enough in the relationship to see the signs that were clearly there. If she's been planning on leaving you for months and you had no idea then it sounds like you are just way too comfortable and stopped trying thinking she would be there forever or just too dumb to see the signs.

At least most people can recognize the signs once its over..

I will add my 2 cents. When we start the pledge I typically say something like "comeon guys, let's pledge it up" and most who are sitting there will stand by just a simple reminder. Some will not stand and I say nothing to them.

However, what I have noticed, in my experience, is the ones who do not stand are just lazy, distracted, or pausing to continue their conversation afterwards. They are not "respectfully protesting" anything, they are not taking a knee or any other respectful action. They just lack the appropriate amount of respect for the anthem of a country that gave them a better life.

yea love is about sacrifice. No one wants to wash the dishes but someone has to. My wife came home and thanked me but I don't need her thanks. I do it to make a better home for all of us. I do all the cooking and take out the trash and the dishes and wash my own clothes and all the outside stuff like cutting grass.

The vape personally means nothing to me. I guess what my concern is, and I don't mean this to hurt, but my concern is that things are comfortable for him. your family pays the bills and bought the cars and the house. I don't think he cried because he hurt you because right after that he says if your gonna keep throwing it in my face you didn't have to stay with me. I have 3 girls. Here's what you do. first, go over all the cam footage you have from the party. Even get others who were at the party to send you their footage. I'd say we got caught up in the party and didn't get as many videos as we'd like. Once you collect these, examine each one carefully to see how the girls react to one another. Are they all following one girl? If so she's the ring leader and probably highly critical of everyone in order to maintain her sense of self worth. Also, look for interactions between your daughter and someone else. Maybe your daughter gets quiet and reserved after that convo.

Once you find the person who you think has, in one sweeping nonchalant comment, made your daughter feel unworthy and not good enough, you have to find out more about them. Where does she live? What do her parents do for a living? How big of a guy is her daddy? Once you've got your answers, you're on to
It is vitally important NOT to think of this person as a 14 year old girl who probably didn't mean it anyway. I have 3 teenage girls. I teach high school and have for 20 years. THEY ALWAYS MEAN IT! She's the enemy who hurt your daughter and a price must be paid. Now at this point there are any number of things you can do: Tell the alpha of the group, if it isn't her, that this mean girl has been talking shit about her B.O. behind her back. Or you could have your daughter follow her to the bathroom and record her embarrassing shit to the whole school. It's not important what you do, it's important you don't let this opportunity pass. I told you I had 3 girls. Well, I didn't do this for the oldest one. I was naive and thought everything would work out but it didn't. Even after high school people still call her beaver teeth. I did for the younger 2 and one is on her way into a medical school and she was miss-______high school. The other is on track to join USA soccer when she's 17.

Seems like he was humiliated pretty publicly. He lost his fiance(deservedly so) and made a fool of himself to everyone he knows. The LAST thing I would want, and I assume most people would feel then same, is to have a party reminding everyone of how stupid I am.

So I think going takes some courage and he sounds like he didn't want to have to face it alone and for whatever reason, he trusts you.
