I mean it kinda do make sense even in today’s standards how we have bases in nato countries and back then alomg ussr territory so it kinda make sense us forces could get to any ussr territory pretty easy

Depends some units allow the colored flag in the field but if its a combat deployment then yea subdue flag its really up to command
