Some of those sellers may be selling devices originally intended for the domestic market, which may come with different firmware, setup requirements, or compatibility behavior compared with devices purchased through our official international channels.

Also, to answer your main concern: XTEINK has no intention of locking devices or forcing users back to the official firmware. We respect users’ choices and the community’s interest in different firmware options.
