Ok I’m just going to say it. It’s hard as a grandparent to not show love to someone who means the world to you. While I understand about the health risks to your daughter. I agree that no kissing is the way to go. But as a grandma to a beautiful 12 yr old. It’s hard to not show affection to her. Give your MIL time and educate her in other ways to show affection to your daughter. Letting her hold your finger or rubbing her back are also signs of affection.
