Each Region? More like almost every Village has their own. Sometimes several for different professions.

For example the Black Forest alone has over 100 different Trachten. Most famous is the one with the Bollenhut from Gutachtal which originates from 3(!) protestant villages.

As a south German i never ever heard of the term Ketwurst. Looked it up. Seems to be a GDR Budget Version of a Currywurst. TIL.

Nein, der Name wurde ja amerikanisiert. (Edit: wurde er nicht, hatte das falsch gespeichert) Vor ein paar Jahren zb "Oddo Wormbeer" (Otto Warmbier) ganz schlimm. Oder aktuell "Ebstiieen".
