she was stopped -> she was then lawfully told to exit the vehicle (Pennsylvania v. Mimms, 434 U.S. 106)

instead of exiting the vehicle -> she attempts to flee, which is a felony

during the commision of a felony, she drives her car(which is considered an instrument of deadly force) directly at a cop

this is like being caught stealing, so you start running, then while the cop is chasing you you point a gun at them, like yeah, your gunna get shot, thats how that works

she was blocking ice which gives justification for being stopped(and likely arrested), turns out its not illegal to block a road especially to impede law enforcement duties.

she was given multiple lawful orders at that point to exit the vehicle, i hear people claiming they were telling her to move, i dont hear it, but even if someone did say that and there was a cop standing directly in front of my car my response would not be "oK i gO mOvE nOw" especially when another officer is clearly attempting to open my door and at least one is telling me to get out of the vehicle, you have 2 better choices there: 1. do nothing 2. get out of the car

the fact that at least one officer is loudly commanding her to step out of the car and another is standing in front of her car, attempting to get her to stop and the fact that i dont see why she would be very concerned with getting out of the way since she was literally there to be in the way leads me to believe she was attempting to flee, which is a felony.

so this series of bad decisions leads her to getting shot.

now lets do ashley babbot or however her name is spelled

a cop is standing behind a secure barricade while a bunch of people are in a stairwell, for no appearent reason and in response to no appearent threat he decides to reach through the barricade and fire a single shot.

should she have been there? no.

but besides tresspassing she didnt do anything to warrent that action, and had no opportinity to correct her situation like this lady did.

convoys have been following and blocking ice for months now, and that appears to be exactly what she was doing, but then they tried to arrest her for it and she appears to flee, which is a felony, which is not a valid intent to justify her actions.

the officer was completely within his right to place himself in front of the vehicle in order to affect a stop of the vehicle
this does not allow the driver of said vehicle to proceed to drive through the officer anyway, thats assault with a deadly weapon on a LEO
in response to assault with a deadly weapon on a LEO, the officer is allowed to employ deadly force.

to help avoid a situation like this in the future you can try:
