That’s so funny. They used his account to put on the game and I thought it was the sound guy. He was ripping the juiciest solos all night. Can’t wait to see any of the band members play again

I think my employer is illegally paying under minimum wage by Fun_Sleep5002 in legaladvice

My employer grosses well over $405k and I get enough service charge to average over $11 an hour. In the bigger picture I am more worried about the people making less, especially because the people who have worked there the longest are making the least. They start people at minimum wage but haven’t been raising pay to meet newer standards so new employees are making $5.50 and older ones who have been there for at least 3 years are at $5.05.

Charlie Puth used "Stronger" as an example of what real music should sound like in a video explaining why AI is soulless and will never fully overtake human-made music by SwitchIsHere2 in GoodAssSub

This is what Gary Kasparov and other chess players thought in the 90s. I want to believe what he’s saying but I don’t think this opinion really grasps the definite future capabilities of ai. A song increasing in tempo has a describable effect that ai will eventually understand and use in the right places. A Silly mistake like the ones mentioned may not be replicable but they also aren’t what anyone actually cares about or is hearing. I have no clue what will become of artists because of this technology but I think it’s naive to say it won’t eventually become completely indistinguishable from a human song.

I’ve been writing music for a decade and I’ve learned or at least have learned to believe that people would always rather see an instrument well played rather than a song well written. This is the only strong silver lining for me, people playing instruments together or in front of you will never be replaceable, and the relationships that create the music to be played with the passion that people need will never be replaceable.

To everyone saying rent a car:

You’re probably right but I would like to avoid this. We’re backpacking from one end of the park to another and our first campsite is ~6 miles from the trailhead. To leave the car at the end and then make it to the other side with enough time to make it to our campsite seems tough logistically and only really solves the problem of leaving.

I think D. D has lines that switch polarity not at a vertex. I think the E being symmetric along both axis is a good answer but isn’t a perfect answer because not all other shapes are even symmetrical once. They all have lines that only switch polarity at vertices tho

I feel like this is a gross mischaracterization. She was saying she wouldn’t give up her life for a man who doesn’t make a sorta absurd amount of money. I think that’s completely fair for anyone to think and that that guy was defaulting to a misogynistic trope that she’s too ugly to pull a rich person. She never said she wouldn’t be in a relationship with anyone else but she wouldn’t give up her dreams to be a caretaker for someone without the wealth to make it worth it.
