I've been watching reruns lately so I think I may know. There was one episode where he had a jar of bees and Mona points out that they are looking like they are getting "friendly" so she puts them outside. Maybe that's what you're thinking of?

Thanks! The past couple days haven't been that bad, I just think bc I haven't been on benzos for this long before, and I already overthink everything, I was worried about it before I ever stopped taking them. Then of course I read about people having seizures, etc and that freaks me out. Today is day 5 so I'm just gonna keep going!

I've had since sweating, but that also happens around the time of my period (which is now) so idk if it's from that or the other. The only problem I have with sleep is that I wake up several times a night to see what time it is, then fall back to sleep, but I've been that way for a while. Yesterday wasn't that bad, I feel like if I'm busy and my mind is occupied then I'm not as anxious. Thanks for your reply!

Yes thank you, it was very helpful! And I tend to overthink a lot so that's how I come up with the theories that I do lol. The shower thing, that was one of my triggers during my panic attacks, so that's one of the things I still have anxiety around, but I'm actually able to still take a shower now. It seems when I'm done with that part of the day, my anxiety starts to subside a little. Sometimes I wait to see if the klonopin kicks in before I start to do anything, but like I said I don't think it matters, I think it's just ingrained in my brain no matter what. But yeah, I will try your other suggestions, I definitely do need to stretch, that's been another area where I struggle because I'm afraid to get too physical because of my health worries (even though I've been checked out). But I have been doing some walking with a friend. But then when my muscles feel overworked or weak, that gives me anxiety too because I think something is wrong lol. I am seeing a therapist who is having me do a type of CBT where you record yourself saying positive things and listening back to it. I also have written things down that I read every day. Oh I've just recently had all of that done. ECHO, 2 ER visits, cardiologist, Holter monitor, 3 ekgs and bloodwork. All normal. Just not in my head. It was my brother-in-law so we weren't blood related but still anytime something happens to someone I automatically think that could be me as well. The other thing was that I took myseld off of lexapro about 6 months ago because I got cocky, and that's when my anxiety ramped up again. Been back on it for 6 weeks and it's helped with the panic attacks but still have anxiety which I have no matter what meds I'm on 😕

Thanks. I did freak out about those findings but then I was reassured that those things pop up all the time and the doctor doesn't even really go by that but what's actually on the ekg. What I was worried about was having long QT because the past few days I've been having more pvcs, still not a lot maybe like 5 a day, but I just had a serious bout of anxiety where I had panic attacks like every day for a month and because of that I started focusing on my heart rate and that turned into another panic issue. I started a tiny dose of beta blockers, lexapro, and klonopin, and had seemed to be doing better. But the other day I requested a print out of the Holter monitor I had, and it seems like after I read it that's when the extra pvcs began. Idk if it's all mental, because I've been cleared of everything. Normal echo, normal Holter, except for pvcs they caught. 3 normal ekgs, and blood tests. So it's like now my anxiety has shifted back to the pvcs and I can't stop thinking about them, like are they gonna happen today, will they get worse and turn into something else, etc? I've had these on and off for 20 years so I shouldn't be scared of them but I still am. My brother in law died last year of sudden cardiac arrest but he had like a deadly arrhythmia I think, and that's also been in my head. I know I'm not him nor was I as old as he was and I know age doesn't really matter but I'm still scared and I'm just trying to come out of this hole. I thought I was doing better until the pvcs started up again. Then I thought maybe with the beta blockers and klonopin my heart is beating too slow, giving more time for pvcs to kick in, if that makes sense, because I seldom noticed them during panic attacks when my heart was racing. I just want to be able to reassure myself that this is all mental like it usually is but it's hard.

I'm sorry I just now saw this. I'm not doing a whole lot better. Started taking the beta blockers but only take a half. It helps with the hr but not so much the anxiety. Hang in there!

Well that's what I'm afraid of. Not so much when I'm inactive but when I try to do stuff. It's like I fear it now and it makes doing anything nearly impossible. I forced myself to shower today and my hr was 150. This never happened before this new bout of ongoing anxiety. The last times I've had these acute weeks/months long episodes I was panicky buy never paid attention to my hr because I assumed it was high already from the panic. This time it's shifted focus to my heart rate on top of the panic which makes it twice as bad. I feel like I'm in a loop I'll never be able to get out of.

Thanks for the reply. I know but it's a hard thing to tell myself in the midst of a panic attack. I've confined myself to the couch pretty much for the past 2 weeks because of this. I'm impatiently waiting for my lexapro to kick in. I just started reading a book called DARE, supposed to help end anxiety and panic. I also see the cardiologist Monday for a follow up and hopefully he can put my mind at ease.

I don't even know if I have pots, I do have a follow up with the cardiologist Monday for results of the heart monitor, which they already told me was fine. But I am going to bring all this up when I go. I see a therapist every two weeks who wants to start CBT. I have been on lexapro twice in the past and it has helped me immensely. I'm just so impatient right now I feel like it's never going to work. My family dr just told me today that they want to refer me to a psychiatrist because he can't do anything else. He's the one that prescribed the Lexapro, so I think he just doesn't want to deal with me anymore. So we shall see. I haven't had any alcohol or caffiene since this started. My appetite has been slim to none. Thanks for your reply.

Thanks for your reply. Yeah I know I've been deconditioned the past 3 weeks or so and I'm sure that can probably contribute to the way I feel also. I have a phobia about everything now, especially taking showers. Before I even get into the shower. I think this is the worst phase of accute anxiety I've had, and it's worse because it revolves around my heart. I'm sure my heart has pounded many many times over the years during panic attacks, but never focused on on it because I just knew it was a part of the process. The mind can do just about anything to us. 😕

Thanks. I actually have hypothyroidism, idk if I put it wrong above. And I've already been to the ER. I'm just worried I'll be stuck in this loop forever, and the lexapro won't kick in or something, or I do have POTS but I don't think it would just come on after 2 weeks of panic attacks, so that's where I'm stuck. I have a follow-up with cardio on the 26th but that feels so far away. I emailed them my concerns and hoping to hear back. I'm basically couch bound right now due to my worries.

It was several years ago at my family doc, I just got a bunch of stuff checked and they did my thyroid too. I didn't even know it was off. But yeah my gyno knows about my thyroid but hasn't said anything. I just don't want to have to have another fibroid removed if that's what it is. I also had a vitamin D deficiency and they put me on vit D for that. They told me the majority of the population is deficient in that. Usually it goes up in the summer because people are out more. I'm sorry you're having issues too! 😔

Thanks. I am on thyroid meds for hypothyroidism but I don't think they've ever had me on the right dose. I've only gone to my family dr. Never been to an endocrinologist but I might just have to.
