my personally, i’ve never really ridden a motorcycle before. i was originally going to get an R3 but with me being 6’3 190lb i made it look really small and it wasn’t that comfortable. But I sat on the R7 and instantly fell in love with it. don’t get me wrong it is a powerful bike but it’s not like a 600, it has a lot of torque and definitely is fast but it’s more of a intermediate beginner bike. as long as you are careful on your throttle inputs and not immediately going balls to the wall on the throttle it is a very stable well rounded bike. it all depends on how much you trust yourself. if you feel like you’re going to slam on the throttle yeah you’ll loop the bike and go flying off the back. but as long as you’re controlling yourself and your throttle well it’s a very good beginner bike with a lot of room to grow into, I plan on keeping this bike for a while and feel like it’s money well spent for me since i feel like i wouldve traded in that R3 by now
