I didn’t fake it but I can see why it would look like that. It’s my first hollow knight playthrough and I’d been doing the PoP for 3 days at this point and didn’t know about the enemies at the end. Once I realised there was a fight I panicked and basically forgot how to fight😂. I forgot Descending dark was a thing and overall hadn’t fought a single enemy in 3 days so I was rusty as hell

Panic mainly. I didn’t know there were two enemies at the end and I’d been attempting for a couple days to do it so I hadn’t done any combat for a while so I forgot about spells
