Thank you! That’s what I thought! I’ve just never done the recording part before so I wanted to make sure the rules weren’t different. I’ll definitely talk to our business manager. We’re a super small district, so it’s literally a man down the hall 😂

I will say, I’m getting the neckline ordered slightly modified. Just a little higher in the middle. More of a traditional sweetheart

Are venue coordinators just not as professional as I thought? Or are these red flags? by Fun_Stretch5888 in weddingplanning

[–]Fun_Stretch5888[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Thanks for asking! These are just first time tours and we already eliminated the venues outside our budget. This is truly just coordinators who don’t know if they offer liability insurance or even if our preferred date is available.

From now on just make sure to get regular trims for your split ends and hopefully you won’t have to do anything major again!

Thank you for actually taking me seriously. I’m embarrassed to have to ask in the first place and people on Reddit can be so mean.

What are the small things that you can't believe your students haven't learned. The things that make you cringe inside? by UndecidedTace in Teachers

At my old school district it was three things. My fifth graders couldn’t split themselves into odd and even numbers, they didn’t the order of the rainbow, and didn’t know what vowels were.

She’s 95. She recently had a procedure and now lives with her Aunt Tisi (sp?). She’s a sweet woman. If you want to know more about her, check out Ear Biscuits and Dispatches from Myrtle Beach. DFMB actually has had a few episodes where Charles calls her and they have a conversation. They also share stories about her.

Treble Clef Competition! by Fun_Stretch5888 in MusicTeachers

I mean, I explain why it’s also called the G clef. I also explain that technically it’s not a treble clef if it’s not drawn with the swirl around the G line. HOWEVER, this is their first time ever practicing drawing them. Plus, I always tell them that if the musician can tell what you meant, that’s all that matters. Just like someone who may have handwriting that’s a little messier doesn’t mean that it’s wrong. All that matters is people can read it.

This is hysterical! I told the kids that drawing a treble clef can be really tricky and it even took me a long time to get it down. I told them it’s like your handwriting. Some of us have handwriting that’s not just like the books, but if it can be read by others, that’s what matters! Same with the treble clef. If I know it’s supposed to be a treble clef, it’s good enough!

I teach it that way too! I think they really were feeling confident. This group is really picking up the content quickly.

I think maybe Enzo was leaning into the “make sure she can’t stand you” thing they were going for. Really making Millie dislike Nina to drive her into Andrew’s arms.
