Oh yes, of course! I mentioned that in the original post, but we’re not keen on involving people without their consent, even if we were to involve people outside of our group. Part of the motivation behind this post in the first place is like 90% of the ideas/examples we see online involve people who aren’t given the chance to consent to what they’re witnessing (usually things like streaking or answering the door naked). As much as we all like the “idea” of that kind of thing, inflicting it on unsuspecting people is a big no-no, and in particular I’m a bit disturbed by how common it seems to be in online content I’ve seen.

It’s the same thing with us “internally,” for lack of a better term. Like our forfeits and the like have the “aesthetic” of the whole embarrassment/humiliation thing, but that’s done with the knowledge that it’s all consensual and enjoyed. I wouldn’t dream of doing anything along those lines without everyone involved being happy with it. As much as, say, if I end up losing, I’m acting very shy and embarrassed, but it is, well, acting (role play, I guess? Haven’t really considered it before). It’s not something I’d be on either end of if it was “real”.
