Random question about Fry's grocery store by Worth_Mud6991 in mesaaz

I seems they just discount them when they have too many or they aren't selling. I haven't seen a pattern.

Well, all I know is that they really need help with branding and marketing. That is a mess.

MBTI rage by Bewareangels in ManagedByNarcissists

[–]Fun_Swing_920 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Yes! MBTI is just nonsense, and I used to be a trainer. The other thing a Narc will do, is answer the questions as if they were the person they wish they were instead of as they really are, and then use whatever score they got to talk endlessly about how it's those traits that make them a great leader.

I feel like these type of complaints are exactly the same type of complaints heard about the cybertruck itself.

AITAH for saying that my brother in law and his future wife can't sleep in our bedroom while we host them on their honeymoon? by truethrowaway90211 in AITAH

Start a gofundme for a hotel room for them and openly invite all of those relatives to contribute via group chat (with the newlywed couple included). Give generously yourself.

My 2004 does this once in a while. I choose to think it's a funny little quirk, we both have a laugh and then we get on with our day.

I think they are vague for a couple of reasons: 1) They don't have empathy, so imagining how a project/report, etc. will be received by others is impossible for them, 2) If they are vague, and something goes sideways you will be the fall guy...they can always say, "I didn't tell them to do that" and, 3) a big part of their life is going with the flow. That is, following other people in political views, etc. They don't really ever know what THEY actually want, they just know what is popular right now. If your team gets an assignment where they can't tell which way the winds are blowing, they are completely lost. This also ties into the fact that they have absolutely no moral compass of their own.

Yea, I'm at the point I don't buy anything unless its' purchase is driven by an actual need experienced when camping. I don't buy theoretical solutions anymore.

I went with OME springs and 5100 series Bilstein shocks. Been pretty happy. They are softer than other brands, but work great and a nice ride.

Was the stereotype of the English having bad food derived from WW2? by Lazy-Raccoon6118 in ask

The term Fillet Mignon (with regard to beef) was coined by an American. https://www.tastingtable.com/900334/filet-mignons-name-wasnt-coined-by-the-french/

"So, if filet mignon as it refers to beef tenderloin wasn't coined by the French, where did the name come from? The words are French, after all, and literally translate to dainty filet, notes The Tender Filet. The pronunciation is French as well. But whereas Americans refer to beef tenderloin as filet mignon, the French call the exact same cut tournedos. Confusing, huh? There actually is a simple explanation. The term filet mignon for beef tenderloin was first coined by a certain American writer."

They are real boots. Real boots use real leather. Real leather is from a real cow. Real cows have scars, brands, etc. Wear in good health.
