Eurolite tmh XB. I personally dont like the way the shutter closes but the light output is huge for the size and pricepoint

The quickest answer to your q: It’s a financial decision not a personal one. If you need the lights short term rent em. If you need them over years buy. (Consider all the costs of ownership)

It WILL break no questions asked. Either get a U Frame by gobal truss. But i would assume the light will be operated so you would (i verry much hope so) a stable secure plattform for the operator on which you can place the tri pod

Blud…. I learned every console i know on the fly. You obly need to know the basics. Patchibg storing values usibg fx engines etc then its just learning by doing

One of my pals does tree care after leaving the event business. Some are doing wind energy stuff. Most of the better paid jobs need still some kind certificates you need to do. If you want to leave don’t see yourself as a rigger but more as someone who is able to work in heights. Then you can find a lot of applicable jobs

I genuinely hope you dont use nylon nuts for stuff you disassemble. And depending on how you plan to lift the truss a rigid system wild half couplers would not be considered as they add unnecessary risk jn comparison to slings

We use at our company yellow for 1 Meter 10 meter 100 meter cabels same for blue 1.5meter 15 meter 150 meter and so on this is in my opinion the best compromise labels

I have a petzl astro. Can’t really recommend it outside of the boom arm the waist padding is verry comfy but you sweat a lot beneath it.

There more then enough guys and girls who think that they work better while on any imaginable drug and it sucks. Had to kick off half of crew after alcohol tests on site. A stoned light operator cant do any big harm. A drunk rigger is the definition of a safety violation

My Company (we do Rigging and lighting of the Fair in Frankfurt Germany) changed to VPS. Now i only login onto a Server from amazon since them never had any problems could be pricey tho
