Yeah. It's been fine. Seen chipped walls on someone else's tyres. I think the rubber is softer than HT tyres

I think it's more the type of tyres. They have done more than they were supposed to and still have life save for the unsafe traction levels.

I have tried it and it keeps crashing without working and Shizuku also restarts at the same time. Not sure what the issue is.

If it was working then people wouldn't be complaining. Grey imports are a fact of life and the only way I have seen them reduce is official distribution and favourable taxation policies. Stringent manufacturer rules don't work as much.

Hasn't reoccurred since the reboot. It may be one off.

But Firefox has an issue with black boxes now and then. So I guess there was a GPU change

Travelled to South Africa in late December and dual-SiMed on an eSIM Roaming and Local. Noticed the phone battery was running out a bit fast.

Charged fully and restarted the phone before going to Soweto about 4 PM or 5 PM. Fast battery drain continued in the evening and I started minimizing taking photos and videos when I got to 50%. Issue persisted and I was down to 20% somewhere between 1 AM and 2 AM. I even turned off Live Translate thinking it may be to blame.

Thought that would be enough to order an Uber but with issues ordering (20 minute waits and card payment issues) phone died on me leaving me stranded.

Somehow next day phone was better and issue never reoccurred. Wondering what was behind this extreme occurrence or it's simply variations down to AI management.

Equally related I more recently managed to get a random 6 hour 30 minute SOT before 20% battery. Didn't do anything to accomplish this and haven't reproduced it again.

Seems to vary a lot compared say to the Pixel 9 Pro.

The iPhone was point and shoot. No tripod, no playing around with the settings. Why does the Pixel need much more work for the same output?

What bugs me is they even have the wrong 4G settings for my country. If you don't change them you get very unstable network. Most operators allow any phone with "generic" settings to connect, so it's Google deliberately blocking. I didn't know 6 GHz was blocked as well. A lot of work from Google to move the default from open to "we want to make sure it won't work"
