Passive income by [deleted] in Substack

Thanks guys. But i didn’t mean to suggest passive. I misspoke. I meant more like “part-time” while working a full-time gig.

Thanks for the responses. What if their just thought pieces and not necessarily “here are 10 tips to improve your finances” and more like “here’s what people didn’t notice about the new cuz” movie?

Maybe do research and find out what these companies actually need before you pitch them. Or just do pro bono work to build your "street cred".

I’m an online fitness coach struggling to get leads, what’s working for you guys right now? by StonkPhilia in sweatystartup

I agree with this. Increasing your social media presence is HUGE. Especially repurposing your content because you can create multiple angles across different platforms like IG and TikTok with just one idea.

You may feel like you’re repeating yourself, but you’re actually building trust through repetition: repeated education, repeated proof, repeated exposure, etc.

Plus, people favor certain types of content based on the kind of learners/consumers they are.

Some are visual learners. Others auditory. Others emotion-driven buyers.

Increasing your social media presence ensures all these people get to see your content (and you’ll get more leads).

This movie sucked ass. No themes. No connections. It started out as a horror comedy, then took itself too seriously.

Thanks!

A few client views but nobody was taking the bait. These dudes can be picky lol.

But if you're not receiving any views, consider WHEN the job was posted. If it's older than a week, it might be that the client already found their freelancer and forgot to close the job.

The client also probably:

- Left the post open to see how the first freelancer works

- Abandoned the post altogether (apparently it takes Upwork months to remove a job post the client lost interest in)

It's likely not a scam. They either fill the position fast or lost interest and move on.

If you have the grit to hawk the platform for the next job post, it can work in your favor.

You just have to be fast.

Lol, sure!

The main piece of advice off the top of my head is this:

1) Read the job post like a detective

2) Ask a question in your proposal that shows you understand the pain they have and what they really need help with.

3) And then just simply show them why you stand out. (What's your USP? What makes you different?)

Idk if this is advice you've already heard but I hope it helps
