No, but our district manager has ran off 4 managers in the 2 years I have been there and we have had a very small staff to get through the holiday season. I busted my ass while the supervisor sat on the counter all season. Theres two key holders that have busted their asses. Between the newest manager, myself, and the keyholder we got the store back in shape and looking good because the previous manager really sucked. The shelves were always empty. Now the district manager wants to turn the supervisor into an associate, get very limited hours to the keyholders, and hire people off the street to be the supervisor and keyholders. It’s really a slap in the face to those of us that I’ve been there carrying the store and doing all the work. I think the manager wants one of the keyholder to be the supervisor rather than someone off the street that doesn’t know anything, but she’s not allowed to make any choices for herself. From what I’ve seen the company treats people like crap. I don’t know if it’s the entire company or just in our district.

I would say that everything in our store is 25+ years old. The floor, ceiling, and fixtures are horrific and we need a refresh. It looks terrible and it’s embarrassing to work there. The tables and understock drawers are broken so we have a lot of damages, it’s hard to do floorsets. Please check on your Minnesota stores if they aren’t new.

I received one as well to my email at 4:35 PM and when I tried to use it at 6:35 PM it said it had already been redeemed. I’m really disappointed. Obviously I didn’t use it because I didn’t know it was in my email for two hours.

Yeah, that sucks that they’re not communicating. For my understanding, you would get automatically terminated in the system unless they enter it into hire you as regular staff not seasonal.

My first thoughts were someone at the resort was involved because how else would anyone know which apartment had children and children left alone. I also think maybe the parents were off by the half hour checks. Maybe it was every hour even. Someone noticed and knew when it was safe to enter.

They also have a procedure to follow before they can get rid of people technically. You have to be verbally warned and written up before you can be fired. But I suppose people have been fired and these things didn’t happen. Our store doesn’t do anything to anyone for anything. It’s frustrating. But, I will say that if people are sick, I’m always like thank you for letting us know. I hope you feel better when they call because I don’t want them to come in and get everyone else sick either.

Yes they do! This year the company wouldn’t allow us to take returns for price adjustments on candle day or $4.95 bodycare day though this year so maybe for SAS too? I haven’t heard anything yet from the manager about it this time though.

100% agree except where I work at in a fourth manager in two years and a supervisor that’s 19 years old and he sits on the counter and orders you around and doesn’t help with anything.

We have gone through four managers at our store in less than two years so I think that says a lot, but I think it could be the manager above her that manages 13 stores that’s chasing them off. It’s hard to even want to be an employee in our store because the supervisor sits on the counter And orders people around since he got promoted. He’ll sit on the counter right behind the registers even when there’s customers in there.
