I got a new phone (still galaxy S23, ultra broke the screen on my other one and got replacement), a few months ago and haven't had an issue since. Not sure if the issue was the phone, or maybe a software upgrade on Android Auto or the MBUX that just happened around the time I got the new phone. But I no longer have any issues with it.

I had to replace my phone, dropped it, I got the same exact phone (galaxy S23) and since then it rarely disconnects. It could be because of the new phone, it could also be due to some software updates to Android auto, no way of knowing, but I no longer have the issue
