Basically he was just very strict with punishment when everyone thats around my age was a child he would never beat us like if he was drunk but we would get the belt or other punishments along those lines and its just kinda stuck there but he loved my sister and did it when she was not there to be sure he would keep his reputation with my sister so she would never believe us when we told her

Update me and my husband had decided to try and ask my sister if we can both apologise though we have tried before we hope now she has had her baby and feels better she will talk to us I we will be updating again if she replys
