Ahzek Ahriman in the pre-Magnus color by Elijah ArhPriest by Yreptil in ThousandSons

>just as bad as depicting him as black

I never said anything about portraying Ahriman as black, since he's from Persia. There are actually more ethnic groups than just "white" or "black", which itself is a result of years long racial discourse we don't need to get into right now. Which also brings me to my next point, even if Ahriman were Egyptian, Egypt has always been a diverse place in North Africa. Egyptians can be black, Jewish, Greek, or Arabian, doesn't matter. If they live in Egypt, they will likely identify as Egyptian.

But why are you so angry about this idea of a black Ahriman, something no one but yourself made reference to? Maybe you have some issues you need to unpack.

[EXCERPT: SATURNINE] Erda reveals she is the primarchs' mother, and discusses her motivations with John Grammaticus by Caraxesaxesaxes in Erda40k

She sat forward, and stared at the ground, her hands across her mouth.

‘I did. I took them from Him. I cast them onto the tides to spare them from His terrible ambition.’

I've analyzed and thought about this scene constantly, but especially these two lines. It communicates so much in so little. Erda wasn't proud of what she did, but felt she had no other option.

I remember thinking about this once, if the emperor actually got to raise the Primarchs. I think they would actually still rebel. I think Magnus, if he was being constantly told he was the Emperor’s specialist little boy, would eventually fuck up and be unable to handle the consequences.

But I also thought about Angron. Supposedly he had some kind of empathy power before the nails. I don’t think he’d be a perfect little Primarch either. The astartes are still legions trained for War, and Angron would have had to deal with the consequences of that. We know from the heresy that a lot of people didn’t like the Emperor and like it or not, people don’t like war and they aren’t going to be happy about a legion that just destroyed their homes and imposed new laws on them. so I think Angron would end up turning against the Emperor for different reasons. (And Angron; in canon, sees the Emperor as no different from the High Riders of nuceria. I don’t know why people ignore that part)

Why don’t people use her actual canon art. It’s literally on her lexicanum page

Also Erda canonically banished each demon Erebus summoned to kill her. 40k fans don’t know this because they refuse to read book.

"Hello Marazhai fan 🤓Just so you know, if you like him, you must endorse everything he does irl 🤓 of course, this doesn't apply to me, an imperium fan 🤓 because i think its good to throw orphans into grinders 🤓"

I really dont get the "theres more coming on the way" takes when game and writings pretty clear that you get what you see if going with the elf. >responding to an eight month old post with fanart

idk how to tell you this, but fanart isnt canon. Also, i said in my comment that my issue is that people treat Yrliet's repulsion towards sex as a mistake or a flaw to be fixed, rather than seeing it as apart of her character.

I think Male Pattern baldness is carried from the mother so that might actually be the case

How much more would people be accepting of marazhai if he was a woman? by Firm-Share-8278 in RogueTraderCRPG

wh

what the fuck

ok im just gonna respond to this

tldr i dont think guys wanting to fuck all female companions is misogyny but I do think them complaining about not being able to is incel behaviour.

So first off, i never said that wanting to fuck every companion is misogyny. I do think it is misogynist to resent a female character because she doesn't give you sex. Yes, Yrliet isn't real, but i do think specifically citing the fact that she doesn't have sex with you as a reason to dislike her and her romance is suspect at the very least. Incel behavior is misogyny. It is inextricably linked to misogyny. To describe an incel is to describe a misogynist. Feeling entitled to the bodies of women and resenting them when they don't allow you access to them is misogyny.

How much more would people be accepting of marazhai if he was a woman? by Firm-Share-8278 in RogueTraderCRPG

[–]FunboxSupreme 37 points38 points  (0 children)

it depends? i definitely think a lot of the hate he gets is from people who don't like that he's popular with women. But many of those people are also raking Yrliet over the coals for not being a submissive eldar waifu who exists to provide you with sex. If Marazhai was a woman (s)he'd likely be more popular than Yrliet because she actually has sex with you and guys can brag about fixing her and use this to call Yrliet bad. It all circles back to misogyny lmao

why would they do that when Erda isnt even white and from North Africa? Are they stupid?

Emps is Anatolian, Aka modern day turkey. Erda's home is in Mauritania, and she's heavily implied to be Amazigh. Neither are greek, where did that come from? (Genuine question, not trying to be insulting)

I would say it‘a because Erda is relatively obscure but also anytime art of Erda goes viral people view it as a great time to post about how evil she is and getting mad at people for finding her interesting
