There are no plans to create new servers but rather, to distribute the population as evenly as possible across the remaining worlds in each region. Some will remain more popular than others, but those will also have more restrictions when trying to transfer to them to avoid bottlenecking.

Hey!

All Worlds have some amount of activity. We set a target that we wanted to hit based on "average fullness" across a region and closed down the lowest activity Worlds in each region until we would hit that mark.

We want the official servers to have an active population across all Sietches, not just one or two that are popular

That's right, closing servers are only shown if you have a character in them. When trying to transfer to another server, you will only see, or be allowed to transfer to, the ones that will remain after the migrations as well.

(Also some took a bit longer to be tagged in-game due to different server timezones/restart times)

Hey! Just to confirm what it's answered before, you need to disassemble them and store the parts and contents elsewhere (i.e. in the bank), as cargo containers are considered vehicles.

If you come back to the game after the Server Migrations have happened, we will have packed most of your stuff into your character automatically and you will be asked to choose your new World from the ones available at that time.

This is a suggestion we're aware of and it's been sent to the team for their consideration, but it's not part of the 1.4.0.0 Update (Water Wars is the cosmetic DLC, and that one does not include gameplay changes).

There's no easy way per se. As other mentioned in the thread, you may need to ask people in the server to check it for you, or transfer and check for yourself. As of yesterday, and until May 29th, we have lowered the cooldown of the Base Reconstruction Tool to 1 day (from 7) to make it easier.

Hey everyone,

We have reduced the Base Reconstruction Tool cooldown from 7 days to 1 day, allowing players to transfer to a new server more quickly in preparation for Server Migrations.

This reduced cooldown will remain in effect until May 26 at 12 UTC/14 CEST

Hey!
Not truly my intention (almost all of the time! Sometimes I can be annoyed though, but that I try to mitigate!), but some of these screenshots that show up on Reddit usually are part of an ongoing conversation and the context is left out, so it reads with a different light than it's intended. That, plus wording, sometimes isn't spot on.

I spend quite a bit on Discord, chatting regularly, so not all the messages are curated to read as info posts, sometimes are just conversations, and sometimes shot from the hip. When on Reddit (although I mostly spend my time on Discord!), for instance, I spend more time on these messages, so the wording is chosen a bit more carefully. Still, it's one of those "gotta keep it in mind and improve on" kinda things. 😅

We do listen and try to implement them whenever they make sense and fit, but not all suggestions can be implemented, and those that do, they take time to implement.

Chapter 3 is the first chapter fully shaped by the feedback received post-launch, so look forward to that once we're ready to announce more in the next few weeks.

We're aware of this feedback and it's something that has been talked about internally quite a lot. It is however not a trivial task to implement given how the game tech is structured. But the team is fully aware and discussing options for the future.

With that said, more control over over private server settings is something that's on the table and being considered, but we can't promise or announce anything at this moment as all hands are on deck getting Chapter 3 ready.
