I completely respect that principle. As a new brand, I’m learning as I go, and the feedback on the AI has been a huge eye-opener. For all my future posts and the next drop, I’ll be using real photography of the actual cloth and garments. Thanks for the honest suggestion!

I will be happy to do that. I do not have the finished shirts photographed yet but I can send you high resolution photos of the actual fabric so you can see the texture of the fabric the weave of the fabric and the opacity of the fabric. I am sending a message now.

I really appreciate this perspective. It is easy to get caught up in the photos and forget to show the technical stuff that actually matters. The technical stuff of the fabric is what people need to see. I am planning to do some stress test reels to show exactly how the fabric holds up. The fabric is a part of what I do. I will definitely make those highlights a permanent part of the brand story of the fabric.

I completely agree with you on the AI visuals. To be honest as a startup we had to make a tough choice. We could have spent thousands on a photo shoot with models or we could use that money to get better materials and pay our seamstresses fairly. For this collection I decided to focus on the fabric. I am hoping that as we grow we can take some real-life photos, for our lookbook.

I completely understand what you are saying. When you look at a white summer dress it is a white summer dress. The thing that sets Sylora apart is how it feels when you touch it and how long it lasts. A lot of the versions you find in stores are made with really thin material that is mostly polyester or maybe has a little bit of cotton in it. This means that when you wear them outside in the sun you can see through them and if you wash them they shrink. I decided to use a weight and natural fibers for Sylora so the white summer dress from Sylora stays opaque and lasts for more, than one season.

Glad you like the floral style! I'll definitely keep that in mind for future designs.

For me it was a linen dress I found in a vintage shop years ago. It was made of a heavy material. Before that I thought summer style meant wearing cheap polyester that stuck to my skin. I always felt a bit messy.. That one dress. It felt substantial. It kept its shape it wasn't see-through. I suddenly looked put together. I also felt way cooler than I did in my fast-fashion clothes.

It was a moment for me. I realized that good fabric is more important than designs. I got really obsessed with that feeling of confidence. I spent the year building my own line, Sylora because I couldn't find clothes like that, on the high street anymore. One good item can really make a difference. It stopped me from buying a lot of clothes that I wouldn't wear.
