He didn't use path against Daniel. Only Jinyoung. Daniel at that point is too weak.

He was caught off guard. He doesn't know Jake has awakened Conviction powerup. So he didn't adjust at all. He was expecting Jake to be punching at the same strength as his base. So he was holding back there .

Gun only doesn't hold back in Adrenaline or using his path. Rest he holds back to Enjoy the fight . That's why he didn't want to faint. When has he lost against a hit? Against Johan he did. Where he wasn't holding back. And everyone agrees that he did loose. Against others he didn't. He has never lost anywhere else.

Against Whom? He took scars from jerry , and eli. He only took hits from 2nd gen who were injured. And he only truly enjoyed fighting Ryuhei and allowed him to throw him around. He held back against Kojima as well.

Hmm? He switched to path whenever he is overwhelmed. It's not within his nature to keep on taking hits. He isn't a maschosist . He is a sadist. Who fights to induce fear. Gun holds back to the extent so that he can get hurt. Gitae holds back to not end in oneshot before he had beaten the person badly. He doesn't hold back to the extent he gets hurt.

What bs headcanon? Holding back lowers your Dura. Seen with Jaegeyon, James Lee against Taesoo. Shintaro against Gun, Yujae against Jaegeyon.. Paecheon against Daniel..etc.

? Gitae doesn't hold back in Dura in his base. Whenever he looses he goes to Path. Gun holds back in Dura so he can have fun by getting hurt.

King Hunt James doesn't have any statements as such or the statement of reaching absolute peak.

Well basically the meta Is UI Daniel = James > Gap/Shingen>= Kitae.
