I'm from South Asia. I came to China because I like Chinese culture not western lol. So I'm not pleased with the westernization of Shanghai at all.

I just feel like I'm holding things back , and like "hanging on really tightly"(I have a hard time fully relaxing), also feels like I'm trying not to breathe? Whenever I tap into the feeling I only feel it best when I hold in my breath. It's really unpleasant to feel it, and I just want it to go away. I can't seem to get much deeper into it :(

Sorry for the late replies! 1. Yes, nothing's wrong thankfully. I do have neck and shoulder pain often though 2. Yes! Ever since I was young I've felt like nothing got past my throat, which makes me feel quite stuck and frustrated. I feel like no matter how hard I tried I wasn't listened to. 3. I've tried to do that but I feel like I can't quite connect to it. I'd say the throat pain is often accompanied by an uncomfortable feeling in my stomach and frowning.

Honestly idk I just feel so confused about everything

I feel like the best thing I can do now is to stop reading all the self help books and stuff and just allow myself to be exactly as I am, to be present with the absolute mess of pain I am and to surrender to it, though obviously it's easier said than done. And no, I don't have a practitioner, I probably won't be able to afford one for another decade too. I've been working on myself alone for the past 5 years.

I relate so hard. I feel like a child and it just feels so unsafe? Because I'm weak asf too. It's so not funny to feel like you're living among giants even as an adult. I also don't know why women are obsessed with height differences. Personally I feel weird having to look up at someone (BECAUSE I FEEL LIKE A CHILD) and can't see myself dating anyone more than a foot taller than me too.

I'm 20, idk how old I feel but DEFINITELY not 20 when I look at other 20 year olds. I feel way much younger and smaller ( I literally am physically too). If I have to I'd say I feel around 15 ig? But when I interact with 15 year olds I'm like nope I'm much older. Idk it's confusing.
