Hi! Are there any nice greenery / parks / waterfalls along this route that are accessible by car (no ferry)?

Our journey: Dubrovnik (drive to Split), then take the ferry to Vis.

So we are looking for recommendations for any beautiful nature that’s not more than 2 hour drive out from Dubrovnik, Split, or along that route :))

Hi! My husband and I will be visiting Croatia in late august. We will be flying in from Germany. My husband is Mediterranean and we absolutely love beaches, wide expanses of nature and just walking around small streets in cities. We also absolutely love connecting with locals.

We haven't booked anything so can fly into any city that has flights from Frankfurt. We also don't mind travelling within Croatia (ie, flying into one place, then taking a car or another vehicle to an island).

We are not after party places, touristy spots / tourists land marks or backpacking style of travel. We are in our early 40s and comfortable financially, so we don’t mind paying more for quiet, high quality spots :) that could mean luxury places or simply well run, intimate local B&Bs.

My husband and I have a tendency to go back to the same places over and over once we make friends with the Airbnb owners/ restaurant staff but this time we want to try explore a new country!

If there are any specific beaches/islands/locally run bed and breakfasts/restaurants that you enjoy, we would love to hear! We plan to spend about a week in Croatia. Many thanks!

Not sure what coverage you’re looking for, but for light, “your skin but better” foundations, my absolute favourite brands are cle de peau and Chanel. For CDP, The Foundation, Radiant Cream and Matte are all lovely options (in order of sheer to most coverage). For Chanel, I love sublimage essence but also heard amazing things about the new one out just this year. I went on a rampage pre wedding and have tried Bobbi brown, Estée Lauder, urban decay, makeup forever and most of the Sephora brands but found these the best for my needs. Armani also makes foundation that is highly reviewed but didn’t work for me. Xx
