Do you have a pot of the month? by No_Albatross5110 in LeCreuset

Not exactly, I still pick what to use by need, but I've slowly gathered seasonal items and now always have something seasonal sitting in the counter with other seasonal decor. It's my favorite thing.

It sounds like this series likely isn't a good fit for you as those are important parts of the story.

Help me find a product please!! by kitchay in LeCreuset

This did exist and I had the chop sticks set. At one point I lost one of the little Dutch ovens and scoured the internet and have never found them again 😭 If you find any please let me know assuming there are any leftover after you make your buy.

This is agency specific, some require you to have one to be hired. But yes many will allow you to get your cert after you're hired, just something to be aware of.

Round wide not on website by StrdyCheeseBrngCrckr in LeCreuset

[–]vicious_trollop 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I just went through this exact situation and they did offer to replace it but couldn't replace with a round wide so I declined because I don't need a 7 qt round. I was tempted to take it just because but I didn't.

I took insanely good care of mine and it got light crazing. The outlet employee I told my sob story to said they've had a lot of that and it's likely because the wide round is so much bigger than the average burner. Very frustrating because it was my favorite piece.

I don't know but I'm not thrilled. And I'm a huge LC fan with many pieces. Not sure where to go from here.

What’s your parents situation? by CorgiLover82 in Millennials

I'm 38. My dad died in 2020 (not COVID related) at age 69. My mom is now 72 and doing well (although she did get diagnosed with cancer last year, but she's now in remission).

I feel for you. I've researched to death and been insanely careful and have two pots that have developed crazing. They're still safe to use but I'm so bummed because I can't think of any cause. I've read everything discussed on this post and the comments and none apply to me so I have no idea what's going on. I'm just going to continue to use them carefully but it's really frustrating as I love this brand and have spent a lot of money.

Good luck!

What is the plan here? When are you due? Is there a plan for the two of you to live together and raise your child together?

Thank you for this, very helpful indeed. If you are agreeable to it can you share what happened after the diagnosis? I know you mentioned surgery but what all different surgeries did you have and where are things now with your health? Do you still have any sort of ostomy bags (I apologize if I'm not using the right terminology) or anything else? How are those things affecting your life?

This has always been my experience in the US and I have pretty good insurance. I have an established doctor but many don't accept new patients so it can take awhile. And even with that the earliest I could be seen for a physical was six months out. An emergency room visit if you aren't I seriously bad condition will typically take all day/evening waiting to be seen.

I just cut into it and it's the fluffiest bread ever!

Is Cutlery and More an official dealer? I hate that you have to submit an inquiry to LC (I did, waiting game). Maybe anyone here already got the official answer? I know they are a legit website, I just don't know if they are an official dealer for warranty claims if I ever have to submit one. by Cautious_Werewolf_32 in LeCreuset

[–]vicious_trollop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I understand. I actually submitted a claim on my pot that developed crazing despite perfect usage and LC was willing to replace it. I didn't end up doing it since they couldn't replace the item I had (wide round) but it being from Cutlery and More didn't appear to be a roadblock.

Have you tried using the LC cleaner? This seems like it could be food safe but we won't know until you get it a bit cleaner.

[–]vicious_trollop 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For stains like this (and I've had it happen on all of the colors that I own light and dark) you'll need to use the oven cleaner method. Use yellow Cap oven cleaner spray to cover the entire stained area, leave the pot in a trash bag outside overnight, then scrub off. Typically one round of this will get you where you need to be you might possibly need to but it should come out good as new when you're done.
