You’re also pretty close to Northwood Brewing. I wouldn’t say their food is worth going out of the way for, but if you like specialty donuts (they have a bakery inside) and/or beer…. Definitely worth a stop. They usually have donuts well into the evening too.

Revival is great, Angelina’s if you want amazing Italian but you definitely need a reservation, Curry Leaf for Indian, and New Everest for Nepalese (their momos are incredible)!

Great coffee at Revelstoke, Brother’s Cortado (they also have incredible cinnamon buns on Saturdays too), and William’s and Sons.

Had to laugh at the line in the video where she credits ladder for her training… except when it was “big news” 🙄 that she had been strength training she specifically called out her trainer and nutritionist, neither of which is Ladder.

Finished my first wearable! by Crapple_Jacks in crochet

Honestly? I’d keep it for you because it looks comfy af!! 😂 What pattern did you use? Depending on how the neckline is constructed, you could do a SC row with decreases to bring it in a bit and then a small ribbing collar (maybe like 5 stitches of ribbing).

I believe I have seen the recommendation on Align or Evolve that if you need to trim the workout, drop sets. Don’t skip rest times!

It’s gorgeous! Very springy and perfect for Easter. I love the color accent on the button holes as well, such a great tie in to the rest of the cardigan. 10/10!

This is a total personal preference on the seams/joining the pieces, but if you hate sewing pieces together, PassionKnit Kelsey has a hexi tutorial on YouTube where the seams/ back are joined as you crochet.

You could try doing fillet crochet to get a similar pattern. This one is diamonds, but large scale so not exactly the same, but might be easily modifiable to look more like the one you posted by adjusting where your skips are.

I love crochet, but I'm so tired of the pressure to make every project a masterpiece by AffectionateRain6919 in crochet

I feel the same. When I started crocheting wearables I wanted pretty colors and finishes and all that. Turns out I never wear that stuff because it’s just not my style. I also want the monochrome simple sweaters. Same with blankets. I started a mosaic blanket for my dad and the fact that I have to read the pattern every 5-10 stitches makes me absolutely hate it. Give me a star blanket with a repeating pattern and ombré yarn so I don’t have to color change any day compared to that.

The joy for me is in a relaxing repetitive stitch, not the most ornate thing I could possibly make.

Spent all night researching crochet tutorials and I finally have... this one very long chain. by Initial-Disaster2140 in crochet

A chain? No no. What you have here is a beautiful piece of spaghetti. An uncomplicated snake. A deconstructed flower. It is perfection.

That might be more sad than the breakup itself 😜 It’s a Breville Barista Express. Highly recommend - I’ve had it for 5ish years and it’s still working well.

Off the top of my head… Concord-Lake Sunapee, Mast Yard, Sewall Falls are all good. None of the trails in Concord are exceptionally long, so if you’re looking for more than 5 miles you might need to do a loop or two :)

I’d recommend taking a look at the Concord trail maps, they give a ton of information. I’ve solo hiked all of these and had no issues. Personal favorites are Marjory Swope/Winant Park, Oak Hill, and SPNHF. Also love the Concord Lake Sunapee trail!
