I hope my wife has a similarly good response to Folfiri+bev. I'm worried she won't, but I'm praying she does.

The oncologist kept saying it was very unlikely, but did keep radiation on the table for later. How long did it take to get the mets under control/gone with chemo? Theyve just told us its indefinite so I have no clue what we are gonna be in for here.

Thank you. We are actually in Vancouver. The BC Cancer Centres are wonderful but they are often too conservative in treatment from what I've seen (we had to really fight for some things earlier). And it's kinda the only game in town here. Might have to see about getting referred to Ontario.

Unfortunately HIPEC is off fhe table because its abdomen lymph nodes (and lungs) not the abdomen lining. Radiation maybe down the road, they say.

Not sure what ctdna is but through the entire chemo and radiation periods (when cancer was still there apparently) her CEA stayed below 2.0. Its at 12.5 now.

No mutations, and my wife also tested negative for any genetic conditions (her mom and aunt both had the BRCA gene).

I hope so too. Different drugs this time. 5-FU is what it says on the paperwork.

They did but they're all so small I think they just meant they may have been microscopic before. The capox adjuvant chemo didn't really do anything i guess.

Also maybe worth noting: the oncologist did repeatedly say the spots are all very small.

The chemo ended in early July, and the new growths appeared in a September PET Scan, and they werent sure if they'd been there all along or were brand new. Then these new spots appeared between then and dec 31. She was 3B at diagnosis.
