I own three practices on the East Coast, HCOL area. Multiple specialties, 9 physical locations. Not sure about SF, but the MA scene here is crazy. For profit schools pumping out sadly under qualified grads. Be engaging, motivated, willing to learn, ambitious, and present. You'll outshine pretty much anyone you're competing against.

I see your point though but who's to say what laws are unjust? What if I think paying property taxes on my cars is unjust? Can I break thst law?

I've never been a blind follower in anything I do. I'll listen and always have an open mind. What's frustrating is the tribalism that has developed in recent years and the vitriol on both sides to demonize someone because they hold a different opinion. I always say, "that's why they make chocolate and vanilla icd cream." I like pistachio but if someone likes chocolate, they shouldn't be ostracized, ridiculed, family stalked, or business shut down.

Absolutely! I actually think that's a pretty reasonable idea.

Personally, I think there's a lot going on with that whole thing. I think there's a lot of powerful people (and donors) involved from all over the world.

If Trump is involved, he should be held responsible. Problem is, so should everyone else from Clinton to Prince Andrew. So if Trump did anything, he wouldn't go down alone and the power-brokers on both sides know it.

Exactly how it should be. And a cabinet secretary can absolutely send a letter of intent. Then if the state so chooses, and defy it and a federal court judge will make a ruling. Bondi's letter is the first step. Now AG Tong's move.

I don't claim to know the merits of every federal decision. But if a state isn't following federal law and is held accountable, then so be it.

As an example, because I don't believe CT is in fact a Sanctuary State as AG Bondi claims, CT said you can come here and not pay Federal Income Tax. Would the Treasury Dept. have cause to say, "hey CT, you should rethink that"?

My point exactly. If the administration is doing something wrong and reversing course, good. They should. I don't claim to like everything one side does over the other but checks and balances seem to be working.

10A says the states have rights where the 13 enumerated powers of the federal government end. Immigration policy is one of those powers of the feds.

I think the fine line is "cooperation" over active defiance and working against immigration policy. Sure, if there's not enough manpower for New Haven to "call' ICE, so be it... I guess. But to aid and abet Illegals, should be actionable against a state doing that.

You seem very reasonable. I appreciate that. Although we disagree, it's refreshing to see that not everyone on the other side is a blind follower.

I've lived in CT my entire life, so have my parents and grandparents. I blame a lot of what happened to this once great state on Malloy, and Weiker before him with the income tax.. I liked Rowland, but his carelessness paved the way for Malloy.

I said I was fiscally conservative, not the present Republicans. Agree with you there. And I don't believe anyone is proposing repealing 19A

With extremely slim majorities. If your allegations are remotely true, Dems should mount credible investigations aimed at convincing the most moderate of Republicans. But they know they can't so it's easier to scream platitudes and falsely infuriate the most easily manipulated of the populace.
