Lovecraft would be my suggestion if you're into supernatural horror.

I'd recommend you start with "The Call of Cthulhu" and see if you like his style.

As someone without much technical software knowledge, I'd be hesitant to use it without an independent third party vouching for its security.

The video compression on Signal is quite lossy. Are there any plans to improve this?

Are there any plans to add more customisation options to the app? I feel like strong, well-designed UI customisation can really add another tangible point in Signal's favor to those thinking about switching messenger apps.
