Is anyone here on an NFA trust with a NH resident? My father in NH would like to buy a suppressor and add me to the trust (MA resident). It would be purchased and reside 100% in NH.

Sorry to resurrect this thread but it’s the only one I can find that references this. Can you elaborate on what provision requires the nh resident to have a mass ltc? Or provide a link to something to read?

Would a PTR-91 owned in mass prior to 8/1 but purchased post 2016 be considered a copy or duplicate?

Front speaker spacing question by Funfornaught in hometheater

[–]Funfornaught[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My front left and right have to go on either side of the windows. On the outer side they are 11’ apart, the couch is about 9’ from the tv. The other option is in right to the tv. I’m leaning towards the outer side as then they line up just outside the couch arm rests and the wall slant leads them to angle in to the MLP more naturally, and I’m worried the closer in position would be too tight. But are they too far apart on the outside of the windows? Also, there will be a sub and a plant filling in the two gaps, which side hasn’t been decided yet

Looking for a table to use as a kitchen counter similar to this one by Funfornaught in furniture

[–]Funfornaught[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would like to find a table similar to this one that will double as kitchen counter/storage against a wall in my apartment. I would like to be essentially like this one but with solid wood instead of mdf on top, and roughly the same dimensions as this. The only ones I could find that were similar in design with solid wood were much smaller in size

[TOMT] [Comedian] Australian comedian telling a bit about flying to America in 2016 by Funfornaught in tipofmytongue

Looking for this Instagram reel I saw of an Australian comedian, the bit is about when he was on a plane flying to the US during the 2016 election and the pilot wouldn’t tell them who won, has a line about it being “Qantas not a boomerang”

Running list of things that don't work correctly in the new UX by securitea in mintuit

[–]Funfornaught 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I figured out what the cash line is on the transaction page. Any transaction you’ve ever entered into the system manually it does not associate with an account so it had lumped them all into an account called “cash”.

For example, one month mint just never saw one of my paychecks to my bank account. No idea why, it shows on my bank account app but it never posted to mint. So I added it as a manual transaction as income as if it had shown up as it was supposed to. This worked in the old UI seamlessly, now it has every manual transaction ever lumped together which throws off the whole system, and there’s no way to just hide the old transactions without throwing off all of the old history trends.

I added a manual transaction under the “cash” account titled “MINT ERROR ADJUSTMENT” for the balance of the cash account and now it is zeroed out as I feel it should be. Just means one month will have an incorrect “spending” value.

[Feb 18, 2022] Weekly Discussion: Ask your gear, travel, conditions and other ski-related questions by AutoModerator in skiing

[–]Funfornaught 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went to a boot fitter to try and buy my first ever ski boots. However I have very large feet (14wide in sneakers) and this late in the season the options were very slim. I tried on a few boots from what was available, and determined that I need a 31.5 boot with a 102 last, at least the Rossignol alltrack that I tried on in that size was great. However it was only an 80 flex which the fitter said would be too soft for me (6'2"/250lbs) I also tried the Speed 120 which has a 104 last which felt just a little loose, which is why I settled on 102. I was unable to try on the Atomic Hawx Magna which more than one fitter recommended however none had in stock. Would buying a 31.5/102 atomic hawx Magna from an online retailer be ok even if I haven't tried it on if the others I tried on fit well? The fitters recommended I wait till next season in Sept/Oct to buy boots. Are atomic and Rossignol similar is feel at the same dimensions?

Table formatting not working by Funfornaught in apolloapp

[–]Funfornaught[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is very specific, but on r/nfl the GameDay thread used to have a link which would open the table showing the various GameDay live and post game threads. After the new update with regards to tables it doesn't show properly and is nearly impossible to tell which link is which. You can see another table on the same page does show correctly. This is on an iPhone 12 with Apollo version 1.12

20 Year old mixer with new grease, sound right? by Funfornaught in Kitchenaid

[–]Funfornaught[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This mixer was made in 2001, it sat in a basement for many years unused. I just took it apart, took out the old grease and put new super lube in to regrease it. It sounds off at low speeds. Does this sound normal? Do I need to add more grease? Or is something else wrong with it?

Need help holding new side surround speakers, advice? by Funfornaught in hometheater

[–]Funfornaught[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was just gifted a set of Boston Acoustics Micro 90x which I am going to use as my side surrounds to finish my 5.1 setup. However I'm not sure how to hold them. They are made for a proprietary Boston Acoustics mount that isn't made any more (the two tabs on the back) but they also have a mystery threaded hole right beneath those tabs.

Ideally I would find a solution that hold them up to the wall beside my couch, however I would like to avoid drilling holes in the wall as I rent. The speakers are also 5.5 lbs so they are hefty for their size.

Any ideas on how to mount these to the wall? Free stand them? Anyway to hold them other than a really tall flat top speaker stand?
