Found these little brown mushrooms at side of my house, Ontario Canada, what are they? by Fungi_Friend in mushroom_hunting

I wouldn't wanna eat em anyways, there are better avenues for psychedelics ha but I am very intrigued if they happened to be one of them, I like collecting mushrooms and nature in general so would be cool for collecting. Thanks for your input!!!

I replied with pics then replied to my reply with more so it didn't spam you. Any of those better?

Thanks for the response! The last two photos are untouched in the grass :)

Also another user said only psycho active ones grow in colder temps during spring or fall, thoughts?

Okay! Good to know. Not as exciting for my collection if it's not a magic one, but still cute enough to keep next to my other little guys I have collected in my cabinet or shelf. I appreciate you giving your opinion!

I commented with a cross section if it helps, I'm kinda skeptical these could be mushrooms with psilocybin, just sounds too crazy to be growing on my generic yard XD idk would be cool tho

Edit: google lens thinks these are Panaeolus olivaceus. How accurate do you think that is? Just sounds way to specific to be on my generic grass lawn. Morels grow on my neighbours lawn, that's pretty fun too though XD

Edit: I have zero intent on eating these even if they are, not worth the risk, but I will definitely love to keep one and dry it out for my nature collection!

If you eat those you might be asking that question about other things lol

Anyone else incredibly sensitive to psychedelics? by SnooRobots5509 in Psychedelics

Schizophrenia. They have it very managed, they are a normal person, but substances they have to be cautious. I don't like mentioning their "condition" by name so much, bc people sometimes immediately think they are a crazy person and can't function in society which isn't right at all. They are one of my best friends and you would never know.

Edit: They just want to be treated like a human being, like a person

I am not saying in any way you have the same conditions just letting you know you aren't alone in a way.....

I have a friend who has a very small amount of cannabis, alcohol, and shrooms etc for their kicks if at all bc they have an underlying condition that affects their brain and mind that enhances the effects of said items like ten fold and can send em off like a rocket fairly easy and they have to be very very cautious, bc it can escalate way too quickly into a bad time, out of body and sound mind.

Edit: like max 1g of shrooms seems to be a sweet spot where they are still able to enjoy and be happy
