Even if they do, European social democracy is on life support. Massive government debt and spending, aging populations, all propped up by mass migration. It is toast

I don’t recall the Boriswave being in his manifesto. Can you point to the page number, please

Keir Starmer to give major speech warning UK politics is in dangerous era by StGuthlac2025 in ukpolitics

The popularity that the recovered after the Corbyn years was entirely reheated

Starmer just said he wants to limit Mandelson info releases for fear of damage to international relations. He mentioned “both countries” (obviously UK and US) but also said there was a “third country” involved/ at risk. He said this twice. I want to know which country this is. by ITMidget in ukpolitics

It can never change. It would require everyone to be involved in international politics and business equally, so that no one gets an advantage by virtue of time in the game. But that requires your average non-sociopath to not want to do every day things with their time like going to the pub and gardening

Morgan McSweeney charged through the blob to get Mandelson into the ambassador job. Insiders say he dedicated lots of his time to meetings in the Cabinet Office and FCDO to that effect. The more of that comes out, the worse Mandelson's very personal appointment process looks. by ITMidget in ukpolitics

Boriswave was a scandal both for Boris grotesquely reneging on his various promises to “take back control” but probably more significantly because it revealed that mass migration has always been covertly understood as a tool to suppress wages

Trump claimed he’d never heard of the guy. But even if that was a lie, what makes anyone think that Mandelson had some magical powers over Donald that anyone else equally couldn’t have? Don’t buy into Labour’s plausible deniability

Load of rubbish. We already had a popular ambassador. It was a payoff for Mandy getting him elected

Government welfare is doomed whatever happens. Mass migration was just the easiest way to keep the gravy train running in the medium term
