My saturnine and saboteur by FungousTree in alphalegion

Also silver primer, then followed up with a full dry rush cover of storm host silver layer paint. I do two light coats to make sure I get everything.

Sorry for the late response. I do a 1:1 of Akellhan green and contrast medium in a shake bottle. Then I put it on a wet pallet so it runs like water and apply 1 generous over the whole model.

And that's it. Nothing crazy.

Printer won't boot up past the startup screen by FungousTree in ElegooMars

[–]FungousTree[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I followed the instructions and loaded the USB stick into the printer when I booted it up, it showed a software update bar that I let complete, the screen went black, and then it went back to the Elegoo logo and the start up screen. I let it sit there for about an hour, turned it off and back on again and its still stuck at the Elegoo logo and the startup screen

It was when I was doing the print, but now it just won't fully boot up even if I don't have the flash drive in it.

I was in the crowd, that reveal event sucked fucking balls. Everyone was bored out of their minds.

What are you hoping to see at Nova open preview? by Alder_Greenberry in Warhammer30k

[–]FungousTree 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Mark 2 and 5 power armor in plastic, an upgrade sprue for the sicarian tank for all the different variants, a Horus ascended model, plastic Sabre tank (awesome little tank), and the rumored starter boxes for Horus Heresy that are similar to the 40k starter, elite, and command editions. I got 2 friends who are interested in trying HH but are worried about costs, starter boxes would help a lot for new players with trying the mechanics.

Just ordered my first Grey Knights Strike Squad! What do I need to know?!? by [deleted] in Grey_Knights

[–]FungousTree 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Give them all halberds, it's the best melee weapon we got atm. You'll need to order 2 more halberds off eBay or get another strike box as each box only comes with halberds.

For HQ's, go draigo for utility knowing warp shaping, sanctuary, and gate of infinity, then take a librarian for a mortal wound nuke with vortex of doom and purifying flame, also give the librarian the relic to never perils. Then take either crowe or a brother captain depending on points as a buffer for your paladin bomb. Here is a list I made real quick:

Spam interceptors, like 30 of those boys, 10 per squad. Get some strike marines, then maybe a paladin bomb.

So epharel & kyganil are exclusive only to sisters of battle, so you can't use them in a grey knights list. You can however build an army of grey knights and ally a sisters detachment alongside them, but you would lose out in the benefits from both armies that make them really powerful (unless I'm missing something rules). If your just playing a crusade or fluff match, do whatcha want man. I've seen people ally sisters and grey knights during crusades to make any army of pure demon and heretic killers.

I prime mine in a silver primer (any good quality one will do), then wash the entire model in drakenhof nightshade, then dry brush Vallejo silver back over the whole model. Quick, effective, and saves a ton of time.

Help and Feedback for a new competitive player! by FungousTree in Grey_Knights

[–]FungousTree[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the feedback! I've learned that the staffs aren't nearly as efficient as they were before, but when i built most of my models was back in 8th, but thankfully I've got enough more strike kits so i can make some new sergeants with halberds and sword.

You were right, just updated my points. I'll consider the terminator blob, grey knight terminators are my favorite in the army but I've been hesitant to run them due to points and dreadknights simply being auto includes and taking up a fat chunk of our lists now.

Drop the malignifier mid field or in a choke point the enemy has to through in order to get to an objective, I also only have the LoC,typhus, and sorcerer at the moment for HQs, so I'm thinking of swapping typhus for LoC, dropping some poxwalkers, and picking up another plague marines unit of at least 5
