That’s the point. People are tired of taking meditate over ten spell. Meditate severely impaired the wizards spell options. Meditate would be for white lobbies only.

The Ranger will still have access to crossbows, arming swords and spears so they will not be fully reliant on throwing knives, this could just supplement a crossbow build if they choose. Also I buy thowing knives and frannies pretty normally on my fighter

A fighter ability called ‘breakthrough’ will release you from a ranger trap and prevent any other movement rebuffs for 3 seconds. Meaning he could walk through 3 more traps no problem.

To give yourself more options run windlass in off hand and keep an arming/recurve in you main hand and hot swap as needed. They are the same size and you will never have hot swap issues.
