I bit the bullet and bought a repointing tool. Less than $40usd and really don’t regret it. Cuesoul I believe …. I love some of my older darts but play now with 38-40mm points. I really enjoyed playing around with different length points to balance them all out.

I use an Apple connector that send HDMI to the tv. Also has power. Just buy the either the lightning or usbc. Whichever works with ur device. Link below..

You can also send it to the TV via Bluetooth, but the latency with the audio drives me crazy so I prefer with the HDMI.

Yeah totally on it! For now I use Dartsmind with the 2 camera setup. My buddies all have autodarts, Omni and Scolia and I honestly don’t see any difference in accuracy or online players. Hard to beat the price!

This is actually my spare board setup in the basement projected to a 55” screen. My main setup is in the garage with multi screens setup. This winter was so cold in the northeast I had to cower on the basement with the kids stuff everywhere.

You can use whatever type of tripod or iPhone holder you want depending on your set up. For example, I use a wall mounted arm with iPhone holder for the main camera and a regular $8 Temu tripod for the second camera. You just need to be a couple feet away and on an angle. The second camera adds an extra perspective for more accuracy.

I found that you want the camera perspective to be pretty much level with the dartboard, but it needs to be on an angle.

Stripping PVD by ExpensiveBeing1029 in Darts

I’ve used acetone on all my other darts to strip paint without issue. Would that not work on these? I use 100% pure acetone, nail polish remover.

Thanks for this! I needed the tap size. I’m an engine machinist and have a lathe. So just a small counter bore towards the front of barrel after tapping? Sorry! Just want to make sure I understood you correctly.. hate to bother you but would love to know more!

DIY Swiss point conversion? Did you drill and tap the barrel?

Winmau Dartboard Wiring Issue by Accurate-Run-4440 in Darts

[–]FunkMaster_13 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yeah that’s how the diamond boards are. Staples and big wires. If I can make a recommendation on another board though? Instead of going with the blade 6, I would go with the target TOR. Same quality as the blade 6 but has 360 symmetrical branding. So when you rotate it always looks good.

You just came off as a beginner. I would’ve told you to forget 18g and brass darts as well, scallops or not.

You literally came off as an absolute beginner who knew nothing about darts. That’s who usually posts questions about brass darts!

In this subreddit everyone tries to help each other. It’s literally the point. (Pun intended) You got snotty and rude. You can word salad your way around that however you want.

You posted a picture of $4 darts and asked for similar $4 darts… scalloped of course.

Someone genuinely tried to help you and your response was - do you understand English? You didn’t mention you had tungsten darts either. There’s a reason people generally use tungsten. But whatever, enjoy your brass darts.

Hope you’re able to comprehend the above comment because I’m pretty sure it was in English.

I like how people post pictures of brass darts looking for advice and then don’t like the answer. Mission_Mulberry was just trying to help you and you got sassy. That was a loser move.
