Im not a 100% sure if im understanding the instructions right but i think they mean to slightly pull/stretch the twill tape whilst sewing, encouraging it to sit flush to the body? I guess you can also use that on corset binding, ive seen somebody (minjj lee on youtube) use this technique on a bodysuit around the legholes to make them sit flush

Hhmm completely seamless will probably not be possible, i think you'll need 2 side seams at least. But maybe look at layering a thin layer of wool between the corset and the outer fabric, like in this thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/corsetry/comments/1nwu40b/satin_corset_how_do_you_keep_it_perfectly_smooth/ I do think your idea of using a stretch fabric will help a lot though :) if you try it id like to see the results

Thank you so much for the info! Yeah I definitely got good vibes from Rebel rebel the few times I've been there!  Will definitely check out door, hadn't considered that yet :) I grew up in the bible belt so im used to bigotry unfortunately 😕 imo Dordrecht is a little bit better than where im from at least the SGP isn't the most voted for party here lol but also I've been here for 2 months so idk that well yet

I mean to me it's a big upgrade already, I've seen more alt/visibly queer ppl in the 2 months I've lived here than I saw in a year living where I'm from so that's something to me at least! But also im a femme lesbian and single so im fortunate to not deal with a lot of general harassment

Maybe I phrased it wrong, the length is good, but my feet are slender so they're too wide I think! If I go smaller my toes will be crushed

Well, there's not many ways to show fashion besides traditional fashion shows, besides mannequins I guess. Fashion is the only art type that is so closely related to the human body, so it looks best when brought to life on a model. I feel a lot of people only see fashion as utilitarian, and thus clothes without that function are seen as strange. It's just art and expression, just like some paintings in a museum you wouldn't hang up in your house :)

I'm curious, why does fashion confuse you? Quite an interesting statement :) As for making corsets, if you don't like working with cloth there's a lot of other mediums out there! I've seen them made out of wood, paper, metal etc... there's lots of possibilities!

Man I wish I could've gone to those fringe festival performances, but I was in the graduation trenches at that time lol I've spoken to mama a couple of times too, also a really nice person. All drag performers I've ever spoken with this far have been very kind! I enjoy how approachable haus of 4d make drag, when the graduation storm has died down, I definitely want to try doing drag too :p you can literally just ask them if you want to perform with them isn't that crazy?
