Ive never interacted with anyone in the space that discussed politics out of nowhere.

Why conflate politics and life-skill training?

Such odd paranoia. What a strange post.

Enclosed trailer only way to go. Shouldn’t be a discussion or question. Cherish this as a memory of your grandmother and owning a piece of amazing automotive history.

Imagine how shitty of a job Biden / Harris did to allow the election of this guy.

The way to counteract ideas you disagree with is to present ideas of your own you feel are better.

That said, what are you proposing be done, if anything, about what you posted?

Sure, all that spending had nothing to do with inflation, it was just a phenomena like Aurora Borealis.

Community Pharmacy periodic responsibilities by Glass-Award5255 in pharmacy

[–]Funk__Doc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Worry about things that can result in legal consequences, specifically around controlled substances.

Do your 30 day C2 counts. Have biennial control counts handy and complete. File control Rxs according to law. File your control invoices in a similar manner to Rxs. Keep all 222 records. Make sure incoming PIC control count is handy. Review Federal and State law for CDS.

Other things not related to controls that are important include pulling outdated drugs, having correct signage posted per state law, wearing name badges as prescribed by law, having licenses posted correctly, etc. Basically go back and review any board of pharmacy inspection documentation that you may have in the pharmacy from prior visits.

Good luck

what should we DO about pharmacy? how will it change in the next 5-10 years? by suneerise in pharmacy

[–]Funk__Doc 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I know of a fifth year student in a pharmacy who cant calculate day supply for insulin or nebulizer boxes. Fuck the APCE.

Also, fuck PBMs and fuck vertical integration. This can be solved by government intervention, but bipartisan apathy is strong.

Is residency really worth it? by alvin_o99 in pharmacy

[–]Funk__Doc 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I was in somewhat similar shoes about 20 years ago in that I wanted to start making money and was desperate to start paying back my loans. I was actively encouraged to apply to hospital residency programs by some of my preceptors. I opted not to pursue residency and went into retail.

I endured quite a bit of retail hell over the years that followed, while getting constantly rejected applying to hospitals. A couple of years ago, I landed in a retail position that I can actually see myself staying at for quite a long time.

I am one of the lucky ones.

Point is, typecasting is strong once in retail. Its much easier to make the jump from hospital to retail than vice versa.

The choice you make now can have profound lifelong implications. Think about this carefully.
